Day 1 : Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be warmly greeted by our representative who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Enjoy a relaxing evening, perhaps taking in some local cuisine or exploring the vibrant city. Rest well in preparation for the adventure ahead.
Day 2 : Journey to Masai Mara
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive offers picturesque views of the Great Rift Valley and lush landscapes. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Witness the rich wildlife, including the Big Five, and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 : Full Day in Masai Mara
On the third day, rise early for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. The early hours offer the best chance to see predators like lions and leopards returning from their night hunts. Enjoy the stunning sunrise over the savannah, capturing perfect photo opportunities. Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast and some relaxation time. In the afternoon, set out again for another game drive, this time focusing on spotting different species such as elephants, giraffes, and zebras. As the day ends, savor the beautiful sunset before heading back to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful night’s rest.
Day 4 : Another Day of Wildlife Exploration in Masai Mara
Your fourth day in the Masai Mara begins with an optional hot air balloon safari, offering a unique aerial perspective of the park and its wildlife. After the balloon ride, enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush. If you prefer to stay grounded, embark on a morning game drive to explore different areas of the reserve. Return to the lodge for lunch and some downtime. In the afternoon, go on another game drive or participate in optional activities such as a guided nature walk or a visit to a nearby Maasai village. Conclude your day with dinner and a night of relaxation at your lodge.
Day 5 : Transfer to Serengeti
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for a flight to the Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and taken to your lodge. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 : Serengeti Safari Adventures
Spend the day exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives will increase your chances of seeing a wide array of wildlife, including predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy the serene environment and the abundant wildlife before returning to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Day 7 : Journey to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, enjoy a game drive through the Serengeti, spotting more wildlife along the way. Arrive at your lodge in Ngorongoro in time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit a local Maasai village or take a nature walk in the area. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 8 : Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Transfer to Amboseli
Early morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater floor is teeming with wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, and various antelope species. After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha for a flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 : Amboseli National Park
Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park, known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Morning and afternoon game drives will provide opportunities to see a variety of wildlife, including buffalo, giraffes, and numerous bird species. Enjoy the picturesque landscape and the diverse fauna. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10 : Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Amboseli before departing for Nairobi. You will be transferred back to JKIA or your hotel in Nairobi, concluding your unforgettable 9-day safari adventure.
