Tours Itinerary

Day 1 : SGR Train Journey to Taita Hills or Taita Salt Lick

Depart from Mombasa or Diani early in the morning via the SGR train, heading to Voi. Upon arrival, transfer to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a game drive en route to the iconic Salt Lick Lodge or Taita Hills Lodge, known for their elevated architecture and proximity to wildlife. Check in and have lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, with opportunities to view animals at the lodge’s watering hole.

Spend the day exploring the sanctuary with morning and afternoon game drives. Discover a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and antelope, as well as numerous bird species. Return to the lodge for meals and relaxation, enjoying the serene environment and panoramic views.

After an early morning game drive, enjoy breakfast and transfer back to the Voi SGR station. Board the train back to Mombasa or Diani, arriving by early afternoon.
