Itinerary:

Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Kyambura Game Lodge, where you’ll have some time to settle in and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, which range from savannah to wetlands. Expect to see elephants, lions, buffalo, and various antelope species. Return to Kyambura Game Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime area for spotting lions and large herds of Uganda kob. Return to Kyambura Game Lodge for lunch, followed by a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This waterway is renowned for its high concentration of hippos, as well as elephants and buffaloes on the shores. Birdwatchers will also be delighted by the abundance of bird species. Dinner and overnight at Kyambura Game Lodge.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before taking a drive from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Driving Time 4 hours.

Upon arrival, transfer to Bwindi Lodge, nestled within the lush rainforest. Spend the afternoon exploring the surroundings or simply relaxing and soaking in the serene environment. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Lodge, where you’ll prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Rise early for an unforgettable experience: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing by the park rangers, you’ll set off into the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. This challenging hike can take several hours, but the reward of observing these majestic creatures up close is incomparable. Return to Bwindi Lodge for a well-deserved lunch and some rest. In the evening, enjoy a cultural visit to a nearby Batwa community or simply relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Lodge.

After breakfast, drive to Kihihi airstrip for the morning flight back to Entebbe, marking the end of your 5-day flying safari. Depending on your flight schedule, you might have some time to explore Entebbe or visit local markets and attractions before your onward journey.
