Day by Day Itinerary

• Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

  Pick up from your hotel or Residential house as early as 0600am. Drive via Loitoktok Road, this normally takes about 4-5 hours to get to Amboseli. Amboseli national pack is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Arrive in time for hot lunch. After lunch you will have a short rest and then proceed for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Day 2: Amboseli Full Day Game Drive

  Wake up time will be 0630am, go for the main breakfast and then proceed for the full day game drive at the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. You will be in the Park and picnic lunch will be served at the viewpoint. Amboseli Park has become one of the most visited Park in Kenya for its serenity as well as the view of the peak of Kilimanjaro during the sun rise and sun set in the evening. Here to be spotted are the big cats as well as the herds of the African Elephants. Explore this amazing Kenya pride for the whole day and then return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3: Amboseli Elephant Research Project

  You will wake up to the beautiful sunshine and sweet voices of birdlife. After breakfast, visit the Amboseli Elephant Research Project (AERP); the research arm of the Amboseli Trust for Elephants (ATE). A short talk from an AERP representative will explain the work of the trust as well as the research projects being undertaken. As a result of their work, the park’s 1,500 elephants are amongst the most studied large mammal population in the world, with the knowledge gained helping to conserve them, the park and the surrounding ecosystems. In the evening you will be taken to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 4: Amboseli – Nairobi

  On this day you will have pre breakfast game drive as early as 0630am-0930am, then return to the lodge for main breakfast, there after check out the lodge and proceed back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon with a drop off either in your hotel or to the Airport to catch up with your flight back home or to the next destination.
