Itinerary:

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide who will transfer you to the Boma Hotel for your first night in Uganda. This charming boutique hotel, nestled in the serene suburb of Entebbe, offers a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind after your flight. Enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and rest well in preparation for your adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. En route, you will stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see the rhinos. Continuing your journey, you will arrive at Pakuba Safari Lodge in the late afternoon. After settling in, enjoy a sundowner as you take in the stunning views of the Nile River.

Start your day with a thrilling early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, where you can spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on a boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls. Witness the Nile’s powerful surge through a narrow gorge and marvel at the diverse wildlife along the riverbanks. In the evening, relax at Pakuba Safari Lodge and share stories of your exciting day over dinner.

After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, renowned for its chimpanzee tracking and diverse primate species. The journey takes you through picturesque landscapes and traditional Ugandan villages. Arrive at Tabebuia Safari Lodge in the afternoon and check in. The lodge is set within the lush forest, providing an ideal base for your upcoming adventures. Enjoy a relaxing evening and dinner at the lodge.

Today is dedicated to an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking experience. After a briefing from the park rangers, you will head into the forest to locate these fascinating primates. Along the way, you may also encounter other wildlife and bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you can explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-based project known for its rich biodiversity. Return to Tabebuia Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Depart Kibale after breakfast and journey towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. En route, you will pass through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready for these unique sightings. Arrive at Mahogany Springs Lodge in Bwindi in the late afternoon. The lodge offers a comfortable and luxurious stay with breathtaking views of the forest.

Today is the highlight of your safari – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast and a briefing from your guide, you will trek through the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Spending an hour with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience. Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the surroundings. Enjoy your final dinner at Mahogany Springs Lodge.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi and embark on a scenic drive back to Entebbe. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and reflect on the incredible experiences of your safari. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Ugandan adventure. Safe travels!
